In November 2020, Tokyo Byokane received a letter of appreciation from the Chief of the Tokyo Fire Department’s Main Fire Station for its outstanding contribution to fire prevention and human safety measures.

The number of fires that occurred in the first half of 2020 was 1,910, 331 fewer than in the same period of the previous year, and the lowest since 1960, when the current statistics were first recorded. We will continue to promote fire prevention and disaster prevention measures to prevent fires from occurring and to minimize damage and protect precious lives and property from fires.
